• The NSFW filter is for those that post content that needs to be only seen by a mature (18 yrs or older) audience. This can include mature themes which are outlined in our Content Guidelines.

    **Common use cases:**

    Explicit Nudity for the purpose of sexual stimulation of the viewer

    Sexual positions/scenario

    Depiction of Sex

    Mature themes (please refer and reference to our Content guidelines)

    Fetishistic content

    whether explicit in nature or not, fetishes do not have to be visibly sexual or suggestive to be a fetish

    **CW Review**

    While you may think there aren't enough CWs to be added, or any themes within your submission to warn others about, the CWs are there to further describe the nature of why the CW was applied. These might be simple descriptors.

    **Accepted Content Warnings could be:**

    Butt, breasts, exposed breasts, feet, hands, insertion, licking, sucking, oral, fluids, ahegao, doggystyle, pin up, torn clothes, lingerie, urine, semen, sweat, stuckage, group, couple, threesome, orgy, implied sex, swearing, blood, wounds, punching, strangling, choking, crushing, tickling, teratophilia, furry, rabbit, alien, monster, werewolf... And many more.

    You may even opt to include a ship name in the CWs if you so wish, as that is useful for filtering just as well. There's no need to keep it to only three, and if you feel necessary, we encourage you to add as many as you find appropriate. But three will be the requirement in order to post.

    We recommend you try to look at your piece and describe what is happening, specially in regards to what makes this content sensitive, and you'll find many usable CWs

    **Required Content Warnings:**

    There might be certain content is allowed that requires a specific CW when posting. This means that the content will be removed if it is missing this CW outlined below. Please review the following:

    **NCA or Non-Canon Age content:**

    Obligatory use of "NCA" within the content warnings box. Do not use any other words in place of "NCA", for proper filtering of the content. This must be capitalized.
    If this CW is not present in the submission’s CWs, the post will be removed automatically. It has been outlined in our Content Guidelines.

    **Unacceptable/ Inappropriate use:**

    DO NOT use the word "nudity" as a CW. Nudity is not by nature a sensitive theme within our guidelines, therefore this is unhelpful. Opt instead to describe the exposed body parts, as shown in the example.

    Do NOT submit “funny” or “silly” CWs. This is an abuse of our CW/Filter System and your post will be under review with the possibility of removal because of such behavior.

    **DO NOT use the following words/terms:**

    “NSFW”, “Porn”, “18+”, “adult” , or “mature”

    **These are NOT acceptable. The filter system already deems the post Mature/NSFW by hitting the filter. This would be redundant and helps no one to use these as CWs when the post is already filtered as such.**

  • lack of art or progress in UADS from a complete lack of confidence or pleasure in my crafts. perhaps, in a fit of madness or inspiration, I’ll make something interesting

    been looking a lot at the works of Clive Barker, (in particular, his epic novel Imajica), and H.R. Giger again, they’re very big creative inspirations, even if may not reflects too much in my drawn work. I’ve also recently found an artist who tickles my fancy greatly, ‘Leo S’, also known as ‘Skyhornet’. Their work, borne from their dreams, speaks to me greatly. It almost reminds me as well as some of the film Fantastic Planet, in a sense. Maybe it’s the colors they use, as well as the surrealism? I like it a lot, they can be found on Twitter, Instagram, and Art Station.

    i care little for portraying distinct monstrous sexuality in my art, the grotesque as well as the beautiful, despite my own teratophilia, but find it inspiring. perhaps i should explore it, some time? perhaps it would give me something new. porn, no. but sexual, yes. the fearful erotique.
    ive also been playing a lot of SS13, and the server I play on allows for ERP as well as adult jokes. so, busty xenomorph babes is a joke that actually holds some weight, looking at some of Giger’s similar prior creations.
    maybe I should create tribute?

  • # Effective _Content Warnings_ for NSFW: Best Practices

    As stated in my previous post, Content Warnings exist to give the viewer an objective idea of what they will see behind the filter; this allowing them to make an informed decision on whether or not they want to click through the spoiler. The use of "nsfw," "nudity," "adult," or explicit," in the Content Warnings for posts already behind the NSFW filter is redundant and thus these are some of the very few terms that are not allowed as Content Warnings. To make this a succinct and clear as I can:
    ## **The CW system exists to benefit people who do not follow you and have no idea what to expect in your work.**

    Inkblot trusts that users who are making and uploading explicit content know what it is they are posting and the most accurate ways to describe it for the Content Warnings. If you know how to tag for indexing then you know how to come up with three or more Content Warnings. CWs can include the specific kinks involved, kinds of sex toys, sex position, type of penetration, so on. If you are struggling, assume there are no description nor tags; use the Content Warnings as a way to summarize what the art depicts in key terms or phrases.

    These are not Trigger Warnings, and should not be viewed as limited as such. This system is not purely for avoiding triggers; when used correctly it aids viewers in finding only the work they are interested in without having to play spoiler roulette.

    ### *If you are someone who frequently finds yourself at odds with people who dislike the nature of the content you post, it would behoove you to use the CW system liberally and accurately so they will know prior to looking that it’s something they don’t want to see.*

    .
    The following list is examples to give users a starting point, and in no way intended to be comprehensive:
    * Anal penetration
    * Vaginal penetration
    * Nonhuman genitals / animalistic genitals
    * Solo masc / solo fem
    * Masturbation
    * Sex machine
    * Bondage / restraints
    * Knife play
    * Blood play
    * Teratophilia / monster fucking
    * Sadism / masochism
    * BDSM
    * Furry nsfw
    * Orgy
    * Medical play
    * Watersports / urination
    * Scat / feces
    * Farting / flatulence
    * Pinup
    * Erection
    * Squirting
    * Ejaculation / orgasm
    * Lingerie

    .
    _If your work falls under both NSFW and gore, BOTH filters MUST BE ENABLED and your Content Warnings MUST cover both aspects._

  • So RP land had some fun times where Genesis and Angeal got half-dragon shapes and of course they had sexy times about it. I think this counts as teratophilia so I'll tag it as such to be safe!
