Ribbon eels are a super recognizable and recognizable moray eel that're special enough they get their own lil scientific family dedicated to just them. They're one of those animals that transform from male to female through their life cycles. They're green as larva (who knew eels had larva?), black as juveniles and subadults, the color here as males, and mostly yellow with just a touch of blue as females.
