im finally back in business after 6 days of rest with attack number 15 which is a friendly fire on @/MaudFS on art fight! The attack features their rainbow shapeshifter character Motley and my mascot wienerdragon!

Motley's description said he might change his form to be similar to someone else's to befriend them and I was like hell yeah, doxie playtime!!

This was so much fun to do! I actually finished this at 2 am this morning but decided against posting it straight away because i needed to go to hecking bed. But yeah I went fricking hogwild, at first it was difficult but then i redid the sketch and the vibes aligned and it just flowed from there :)

Going through my old artwork at the time reminded me of something that was said about me a long time ago:

"If it's not a fox or a dragon, I don't think she could do it."

This isn't a phrase that haunts me, nor am I an advocate for spite as a prime motivator for making art (okay, maybe a little bit), but I did reflect on things a bit while making this.

I've had a long history of focusing on one or two subjects in my work, especially when I was still in public school. I even gained some notoriety as "the dragon artist" during this time, and while I wear that title proudly, my ideas have more variety than I ever could have hoped for, especially back then. I think that phrase stuck with me for this reason, along with it being from an unexpected source. I think this speaks to the evolution of not only my design work overall, but to the scope of my characters and stories.

While there certainly is merit to defying your naysayers, I wanted this to be a more positive reflection; a small sample of what I am capable of now, a mix of old and new. Yes a dragon, a fox, an owl, a cat, not the least bit unexpected. But there's so much more. You want a butterfly-moth hybrid that can wield a bow and arrow? A sea monster queen with rainbow hair? A spunky shapeshifter with a tiger arm? Either way, I got you. B)

Im still a bit sick but starting to feel better! So i drew a girl with bisexual flag color twists with rainbow tinsel in them! Just thought it would be a cute hairstyle sooo i drew it x3 and ended up finishing the whole thing
Maybe i should do other flags?

Drawing Blue and her friends has been super fun. Rainbow was a bit of a headache, theres just so many colors. but still i had fun.

More pride stickers, these ones in butterfly form. These were a lot of work, especially since I was cutting out all these stickers by hand, but I still love them.
