In our RP verse, Shan was rightly devastated when Illidan dropped the bombshell that he planned to stay at the Seat of the Pantheon. So I decided to try and capture that scene in a render. Of course in our verse, she convinces him to come back with her.

Follow up to 'Nightmare of the Marsh' - After the fateful battle on the slopes of the Hand of Gul'dan, Delanaya realises the order she gave her life to was no longer worthy of her admiration. She saw vengeance engulf her Mistress, and its poison claim the lives of not only all her sisters, but the Draenei youths who joined them. Disgusted by this, she tossed her trademark armour and glaive into the Twisting Nether.

Inspired by events of the Illidan novel.

I haven't done anything with these two for aaaaages... And I really missed Illidan yesterday for some reason. So here he is spending some quality time with his apparently flirty-feeling wife XD

I think my favourite part of this is Shanarra's expression; it came out super well!

I had the pleasure of getting some feedback on some of my art from the wonderful Belvane on her stream last night. This is the result of one of them!

The changes were mostly small (aside from the cropping) - fixing Illidan's sash texture, fixing Shanarra's bowed upper arm and too-long forearm, increasing the light on them, improving the glows on Illidan's tattoos and eyes, improving Shanarra's expression, and reducing the contrast of the background elements to make them really pop (namely his wings).

I will always love the original, but this version is so much better at conveying the story and emotion between the characters <3 Please check out Belvane over here!

I was bored and wanted to make something random, so here we go! I've been pouring pretty much everything into LotRO RP lately, so I was thinking; what if it were in a book form and Illidan decided to read it? It's Shanarra's book obviously... And yes, he doesn't need glasses, he's just being nerdy XD
