(Also yes the title is the lyrics to Honeybee by Steam Powered Giraffe, one of my favourite bands <3)

POKI "ANN" SCORPIUS Poki is a cross between a Scorpion fly and a Giraffe Weevil. She owns a small shop and prints newspapers on the side with her friends, traveling between towns. Poki is known by locals as being very wholesome but fierce and not afraid to stand up for herself or others. She is age 25 and her sign is Virgo. I don't draw her often due to her insane complexity, and because in order to keep her body shape uniform each segment must be replicated...which is headache inducing. But when done proper, said art of her looks very nice. I figured I would share this because she is one of my more successful desing executions, where I am still satisfied. I don't think i'd ever redesign her. She has Daytime, Nighttime, and Glowtime forms, which can just be used interchangably. To be entirely honest the nighttime form is simply there as a more interesting pallete to stand out in dark environments and to mimic UV light. I'm a huge fan of the robot band Steam Powered Giraffe, as well as an indie fashion company known as N2Operation, who I personally know very well for making unique character inspired chokers. So I thought of the hypothetical for a crossover for the two, and came up with these! I feel like each of them have such fun designs and portray each character nicely.
