Log 2, snow snatchers. moving further into the poles I came across a remarkable beast. I heard a roar in the distance followed by the thunderous stomps of the beast. The droid prepared to obliterate the forest while I barked at it to stop. Then, out from the trees the creature emerged, it had four limbs, an eye on its chest, and massive arms that it walked on. Luckily the beast paid no mind to us and instead snatched up a smaller piece of prey. I was able to get a scan on the creature and found out some very interesting details. The first is that the creature is the frostbitten cousin of the tree snatchers from my previous expedition. For that reason, I will call these beast Snow Snatchers. The next thing of note is that the snow snatchers have only four limbs instead of the usual six. By looking at the skeletal structure I can see that the four limbs have fused together into one large arm. These massive arms not only provide the snow snatchers with locomotion, but they make it a formidable predator. Snow snatchers also exhibit a strange behavior; they will baith themselves in mud puddles to clean their fur, but they always do a thorough check before stepping into a pool of mud, and if something is wrong with the mud, they bolt off in the opposite direction. Further study will be needed to comprehend this odd behavior.

Throughout the ages, the humans have long wondered what is up here. Various cultures have very different and often conflicting beliefs about this place. Some boldly state this mountain to be the throne of the gods. Others believe it to be a place filled with monsters of an unfathomable nature. Well, I come up here all the time and I never see anybody. No gods. No monsters. Not even the hardiest mountain goats make the trek. It's just me. Personally, I enjoy the solitude, the peace, and the quiet. It's a great place to just sit and think about things. Speaking of which.... There's a human expedition down below. They're a curious group. Curious, yes! They're like me. They want to know what is up here. I want to know what they'll think when they get up here.... if they get up here, that is. No, no, I won't eat them. Not those humans. They're in no danger from me. They're too interesting. It is, however, quite a treacherous journey for those who cannot fly. What will they think if they get up here? What will they see? What will they write about? After all, from here you can see the world is indeed round. Spherical. Not flat. You can go all the way around it and arrive back where you started! I've yet to make such a flight, but I will one day. Will they notice the roundness? Will the other humans believe them? I do wonder this, and I want to watch what happens. ... The weather below is quite intense. I do hope the humans are alright, though I must not help them. After all, I'd just affirm their belief that there are indeed monsters up here. That's often what they believe of me anyways. I'll just sit here and watch. Watch, and wait. Wait, and think. It is quite a nice, sunny day up here and the warmth of the sun feels so nice. After all, it never rains above the clouds.

Wev (pronouns she/they) is one of 3 main characters in the main Webcomic I'm working on, Voidstar. Wev is a member of the Kepek species, and was once a planetary scout, meaning she would go on expeditions to explore the surface of planets with a team of experts to determine if the location is a good place for long-term habitation. These days though, she's settled into a quieter life aboard a Space Station working security and tending to their beloved giant mushroom gardens. At least, that was their plan. During Voidstar, however, Wev end up being brought along on a mission to help keep a living god safe, a bit of a step away from the quiet life she was after!

Seeking to relieve pressure from overpopulation, in 1742 the government began a concerted colonization effort of Karafuto, sparking armed resistance by the local Ainu who had already been driven out of Hokkaidō. The conflict escalated into war as Manchu clans armed and organized Ainu guerillas into a proper army, deploying an expeditionary army of their own; the climactic Battle of Toyohara in 1746 decisively defeated the Manchu–Ainu resistance and catalyzed the Japanese army's development of line battle and artillery tactics. **This piece was originally completed and published to DeviantArt on Jun 13, 2021.** This month's art challenge in the lovely Belvane's Discord was "Summer Holidays." The precise moment I read this my brain instantly thought about how both Pete and Pheonixx are not the sun's biggest fans. Therefore, I instantly began brainstorming the clever idea of Pete pouting in a chair on the beach. Clearly, he has been to the beach plenty of times before, *cough* island expeditions *cough* but it was solely due to the promise of precious treasures and azerite. Ultimately, Phe was able to sweet-talk her husband into going. I did state Pheonix wasn't one for the sun either, but she knew the pampered pets would genuinely enjoy the sunshiny beach. In addition, Phe does genuinely love going for a good swim now and again. I heard she is excellent at doing the dog paddle. :D Yes, I went there, LOL!! In this piece, we naturally see a very displeased Sneaky Pete in flamingo swim trunks. Phe with her fuzzy Worgen head on his leg doing puppy dog eyes. She sincerely hopes that her Forsaken man will cheer up, and give a day at the beach a reasonable chance. The chances the couple gets together are rare and she would dearly like to make the most of it. At least the cherished pets are having a blast. I'll admit, I really had a blast producing this. There were some firsts for me with this piece, mainly Mudwiggle bursting out of the sandy ground. I learned how to make exploding sand thanks to the teachings of one Belvane. Also, bonus point to anyone who detects something notable in the sand near Jiggles.  The swimsuits are unique couple is wearing are Sims 4 assets. Pete's flamingo trunks are by Birba32 and Phe's swimsuit is courtesy of LuxySims3. I had actually found swimwear with a Halloween theme that really complimented Forsaken. The specific reason I didn't choose them, the flamingo swim trunks are a small personal easter egg, a nod towards my Grandmother. :)

It took a while to gain entry into the temple, hundreds of years of ice had to be metled away by ignatius all the while making sure himself and Purity didn't freeze to death, it took several hours before they could enter the temple and even then they had to be careful. Purity had invited Ignatius to come with her on this specific expedition due his natural ability to generate heat and flames, he could melt the ice which blocked their way in but also to keep the two warm in these harsh conditions. After setting up camp further within the temple and away from the raging blizzard outside the two hedgehogs ventured further within its halls. Most of the walls were covered with layers of ice that showed various points of history for whoever lived in this remote location however the ice would need to be metled before they could examine the murals further. One such mural however was partially not coated in ice, Ignatius placed his hand upon it, cold to the touch as expected but to be able to lay his hands on a piece of history was amazing to him. His amazement was cut short however as Purity suggested they map out the hallways before they start collecting information. Ignatius followed and was currently unaware that himself, the mural and the very temple they walk inside share a connection. Thank you for reading! Artillery primacy was further entrenched by experience in the 1802 battle of Hiroshima during the Civil War; by game's start in 1931, military doctrine emphasized support equipment like machine guns and was investigating research into self-propelled guns. Its officer corps continued the samurai tradition, with successful commanders rewarded land grants from conquered territory; the leadership corps itself, however, suffered from attrition through recent wars and senior retirements. Finally got to work on my Idea for an antagonist for my Merdog in San Francisco Story, Meet Dr. Snowball who is a Nerdy antagonist based off of Snowball the Bunny from the Secret Life of Pets & Dr. Walter Kornbluth from the 1984 Film Disney Movie Splash, in my Idea of the Story like counterpart Dr. Walter, Snowball comes across Sasha the Merdog while doing a deep-sea diving expedition, when he goes to report it to his fellow Scientist that Merdog exist but they don't believe him leading to him finding out that Sasha is in City of San Francisco and tries to throw water at her to expo her as a Merdog but ends up throwing water at the wrong girl getting himself beaten up by her boyfriend. The Reason I'd pick Snowball for the Idea, Because of his Ego and his History of being an antagonist in the first Secret Life of Pets Movie and getting beaten up by a monkey in the 2nd Movie when he was playing Superhero which I might think about putting in some use for his redemption arch.
