a few mates on discord were doing this challenge, so I thought I'd join in. i unfortunately can't find the original link, but if anyone happens to have it please let me know.

I draw Ariel from Disney’s The Little Mermaid. This is my very first time doing glass painting challenge and of course, painting on glass too. I flipped the original image of Ariel and then I draw on paper first. Then I tape my sketch of her on the back of the glass. Then did the line art, shading, coloring, and other stuff best for last. This was just a bit of practice! This is my first time trying to do a landscape in pixel art, and it was a bit of a challenge... but I feel like I learned a lot! -- The zombie girl's name is Karla and she's got quite a following of little scavengers nipping at her heels, but she doesn't seem to mind! While she herself isn't on the menu, she's got plenty of bread that is! Funny thing though, those posters in the background seem to insinuate quite a different story, don't they...?

I've been doing a lot more daily sketching as I want to start letting go of the perfectionism I have. Especially with me working on a comic. It's also teaching me to make decisions faster and just have fun with the process. I'm using this month long challenge to also create a little zine of all my sketches that will also be uncensored and uncropped unlike here.

More Wheel of Time art I've been chipping away at for a long while. Drawing horses is always a challenge but I think it came out pretty well. I'm still trying to get better at composition and backgrounds so hopefully this is a step in the right direction! 

Commission I made for DreorCaul of their character Mina from their comic Cold Sweat. Loved working on this because I genuinely love their style. Biggest challenge was the weapon as I had to work around the references and try to get its angle right... Should've picked the dagger but man, that gun looked really cool. I'm really getting into missmatched thick outolines, I think it works really well. Go read their webcomic if you can, it's really cool!
