Well, it's been over 2 months since Inkblot 2.0 launched and nothing has changed in terms of functionality. In fact, it might've gotten worse as I thought that the entire site was shut down for good since it always had Network errors whenever I wanted to access it and check up on how things are coming along and it appears that it just came back online out of nowhere. Since the admin's communication for this place's future is nonexistent, I won't be posting anything here anymore! (Not unless Inkblot can pull off a No Man's Sky and revitalize the site and bring it back from the dead, but I don't foresee that happening.) I won't be deleting my account here as there's always a chance for this place to turn around someday and I want to keep an archive of my "journey" here, as short as it was. Latest News since my Inkblot Art Page was Restored for now, I've decided to no longer use Inkblot anymore and I may think about Leaving Inkblot since the Inkblot Admins hardly fix anything around here, and I know that there are people using the site, but the Admins really need to address things when something isn't working right, and to anyone out there who decides to make their own art site please take some responsibly, if there some bugs that need to be fix so please take care of them right away, and if the site is down, address it to the public and don't makeup excuses because that gives users the Idea that the site is dead and no one will ever want to use it anymore. So I'll be making my plans to delete my account probably around early May.

I'm giving up on Inkblot. I'm disappointed. This was a really interesting project, and I was excited to support it. With DeviantART an AI wasteland, I was eager to find another gallery site that supported NSFW content, and IB fit that bill perfectly. But lately it's just been constant delays and weeks on end with no movement or updates from the team, and my patience has run dry. I've left the Discord server and cancelled my Substack subscription. This account will remain, though, in the off chance that things turn around and this place prospers once again. And truly, I hope it does. I have no quarrel with Jay or the IB team and I truly do hope they work to become more active and make this place what it was meant to be. But, in the meantime, I feel my time is best spent supporting other projects. If you'd like to follow me elsewhere, my Carrd is listed on my profile. Otherwise, I wish everyone the best.

So uhhh...not feeling this new site design. Was kind of hoping for an old deviant art vibe when I joined this. Now it just kinda feels like every other social media site I could put art on, instead of y'know, a site for art. It was a beast to make, an actual, terrifying nightmare. The background was a pain to do, the main pose was a pain to do, the 6 other characters were a pain to do, existing was a pain to do (still is), but I saw it through the end! This was a commission for the same discord friend as our latest uploaded! He wanted his human pokemon trainer Tag in a pose, ready to go, with all of his team surrounding him. When he said "I want 7 characters for this commission!" I felt the chillest cold that I've ever felt. Of course I said "You got it, boss!" and then spent the next 11 hours of work (Which of course were 90% on the shading) and finally getting it done! Done entirely in Krita with no 3D posing!
