  • Log 2, snow snatchers. moving further into the poles I came across a remarkable beast. I heard a roar in the distance followed by the thunderous stomps of the beast. The droid prepared to obliterate the forest while I barked at it to stop. Then, out from the trees the creature emerged, it had four limbs, an eye on its chest, and massive arms that it walked on. Luckily the beast paid no mind to us and instead snatched up a smaller piece of prey. I was able to get a scan on the creature and found out some very interesting details. The first is that the creature is the frostbitten cousin of the tree snatchers from my previous expedition. For that reason, I will call these beast Snow Snatchers. The next thing of note is that the snow snatchers have only four limbs instead of the usual six. By looking at the skeletal structure I can see that the four limbs have fused together into one large arm. These massive arms not only provide the snow snatchers with locomotion, but they make it a formidable predator. Snow snatchers also exhibit a strange behavior; they will baith themselves in mud puddles to clean their fur, but they always do a thorough check before stepping into a pool of mud, and if something is wrong with the mud, they bolt off in the opposite direction. Further study will be needed to comprehend this odd behavior.

  • Had a breakthrough with this piece. I'm so over-the-moon happy with this. I haven't drawn anything relatively close to this in three to four years!

    ---

Morgan is a bio-engineered super soldier, who managed to escape the base he was manufactured. He swore to eradicate human life because of what he knows and what he's experienced. Morgan is the anti-hero. He hunted men for sport, even eating on their corpses.

When he found Krista, he argued with himself that she would be decent bait to make his hunting easier, knowing he'd have to tolerate a human within his own HQ but as time passed, he's learned that although man is a terrible thing undeserving of life - he's concluded at least one of them is worth understanding.

In doing so, Morgan has come to terms with his human-side and instead has chosen to use his skills as a weapon to rid human society of its corrupt squalor.

He's gotten used to being touched too. Lol

  • Don’t become the unwilling subscriber and rope-bound follower of this hulking mutie!

The Pulviss gets its name from the word ‘pulverize’. This apt name serves it well for both its brutal, multiple close-in attacks, as well as its bizarre need to dominate, demoralize and crush the willpower and self respect of those that it collects.

We return to the Monday Mutants series with a bang. The pulviss is an epic 8 page creature listing for an unpredictable and grotesque collector of companions — just hope your post-apocalyptic heroes don’t end up roped to the gang of ‘subscribers’ and ‘fans’ for the colossal brute’s sport, or left tied to a post as a decoy when something worse comes along.

This is our 31st Monday Mutant for The Mutant Epoch role-playing game using the Outland System. Our previous 24 Pay What You Want offerings were added into a book along with 6 never before seen, remarkable muties and available in the Monday Mutants Bestiary.

This collector of unwilling playthings, pets, and bait humans includes a 1d8 random mutation table, 2d12 table of possible humanoid thrall captives to rescue, along with a 3d6 table of collectibles that the beast carries as loot, or barter items when in the mood to trade for luxuries.

While we can’t publish a Monday Mutant every week, we are aiming to release one of these freaks every 2nd Monday for this ongoing next dozen. Join us on your favorite social media venue and follow along, links at our website.

  • Made a new OC for lore purposes and stories! Finally got him drawn and his own reference sheet since he needed one since last year. XD (Technically ever since I started writing The Mandalorian AU and I thought him up but never really sat down and draw him?)

But anyway, a little information about him! This is for another universe as well! He is in the Mandalorian AU as well. But just the basic information to get to know him first.

Drake Djarin is his name. He is a handsome male Royal Dragocian who is a General and the Guardian of the Iyarius (the Sky cities). He absolutely loves to cook! Especially when it involves fire. Haha! He would teach Akumu how to season and cook food as it is his favorite hobby. (Akumu just loves it cuz she can spend time with him.)

While he is a Royal Dragocian, his family is not Royal nor it is considered Royal, due to a buried secret that became unburied. A tiny sliver of Human DNA was found, which means someone in the bloodline was in fact human. Akumu doesn’t care at all since she was once human herself. But unfortunately, Akumu is considered Royal because of her title “Queen”. If they marry, her last name will be pass on to Drake and any future offsprings. This is only because Akumu is the first in her line. By Royal Law, that must be passed on. But it conflicts the law since Drake isn’t Royal and had a Human DNA. If anyone finds out, this could cost Akumu’s title AND Drake’s title as a General. But neither of them will lose the Guardian title. (Fortunately, Akumu, as Queen, can change that law but it must be for a good reason. She is just waiting for the right time.)

He is a quite formidable fighter to stand up against. Using a powerful heavy weapon to strike in one hit and run, which is his favorite tactic. Hit and run. (That also can include using his tail as a bait to nab that attention for striking.) He is very efficient in his skills using Fire and Wind element to his advantage.

The relationship between Drake and Akumu is unique. (If that wasn’t obvious, they love each other very much.) At first, Akumu just brushed him off and shown complete uninterest to him. Drake was pretty much used to it since he tends to flirt and mess around as he is charming. Akumu didn’t really pay much attention until they worked together for a some time. Akumu saw that kind side of him, seeing him play with children and watching him play fight, telling stories. Drake is definitely very protective of the young ones and has shown that to Akumu many times. Akumu, over time, started to pay attention to him more to get to know him. Until on that one mission, Akumu had to save him from the fall into the current of the river. From that moment, they started to click. Now, they pretty much knew each other for over 50 plus years and are together as partners.

Now, that I have finished this ref sheet in two days. I need a icon for him. Haha.. 🫠

  • I have a whole little world I've never used, with sirens and merfolk and other supernatural creatures that I've played around in. Siren here, well he's gotten into a bit of a predicament with some mer-hunters. They like to use live bait to lure in others and well, Siren was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

  • A redraw and rewrite of [this old post of mine from back in 2016](https://madmadcat.tumblr.com/post/152327504344/i-havent-time-to-play-with-you-today-the)

    -----------

“I haven’t time to play with you today," Garland's tone was blunt, yet carried enough of an edge to betray his anxiety. "Find your battles elsewhere."

To see him turn down a fight was a surprise. Still, Luka knew better than to dive in head first, and approached the other knight slowly, lest he take unknown bait. "I have no intentions to fight an unwilling partner," he announced. "And you seem agitated enough without my presence."

The older knight scowled ahead, biting off a growl bubbling in the back of his throat. Damn his hide. He was getting soft. And yet he could not ignore the soft groan beneath his chin.

Ress shifted uneasily against his armor, mumbling a mostly unintelligible mishmash of sounds with only a faint "didn't mean to.. I didn't mean to," surfacing from the bog of what he suspected were illness laden dreams- dark murky affairs, as hard to escape as a sucking peat bog.

The Warrior behind him went forgotten as he moved to soothe her. "Ssh, hush... You aren't in trouble.. You're safe. Be still."

Luka's face softened at the unfolding scene. Ress had defended Garland openly and often, keenly aware that no matter his lust for battle and blood, he was still a man of honor, a knight to the core. In that moment the young warrior certainly believed it.

"I'm a fool," Garland groused. "Going soft.. But I cannot bring myself to abandon a fallen comrade..."

A hand moved to his arm. "There is no foolishness in aiding an ally," Luka replied with some confidence. "Did you see what happened?"

For a moment the harshness fell away, and the concern beneath creased Garland's face with worry. "I am unsure. I found her huddled against the trunk of a tree just off the Melmond Fens, burning with fever."

    "To where are you bound?"

"I remember a den hide she dug due east. Provided it is still there-"

Luka pressed on. "And if not?"

"Then I will take her to the old shrine if I must." Garland's voice growled with impatience, eyes darting here and there, watching. The enemy could be anywhere. "If she is to recover she will need a safe place to rest. If you will excuse me-"

"Wait!" The younger warrior dashed after Garland as the man pressed forward, mission set in his mind. "Please-"

Garland stopped short, whirling around to glare at him. "Not so loudly, boy-" he hissed. "You'll wake her."

Luka's voice lowered, quiet and pleading. "Please- Let me go with you."

    Garland narrowed his eyes. “Why?”

The young warrior's response was instant. "We share a common goal. To render aid to a fallen ally. Is that not reason enough?"

Garland uttered a guttural hum and wrinkled his nose. Not the best of signs, prompting Luka to all but turn to leave when-

“Very well, but move quickly and speak softly. Until we are sure what this mystery illness is, the sooner we get her somewhere quiet, where she can rest without being disturbed, the better."

    "Hmn!"

At least he needed no further prompting, The older knight thought as Luka quickly fell in step with him, and was competent enough a soldier to keep pace well. All that was left was to hope that his memory had not failed him involving that den...

The sooner they were hidden, the better.
