In an unexpected fit of inspiration for Pokemon Day 2022 I made a couple of Pokesuit designs for the heroines of the Pokemon universe.

Second in my Pokesuit Series is Serena from the Kalos region. We see her preparing in a gloomy backstage area for a performance in her Sylveon suit. Another coveted Princess Key is on the line. I'm sure she's gonna do awesome.

Sylveon's trademark are of course its ribbons with which it can confuse enemies, convey emotion, lift objects and even express trust and friedship by wrapping them around the hand of their partner. So I designed the suit with them in mind, having them wrap around her arms as well as having a pair of them fall over her shoulders and back. I think it turned out quite nice.

From this point forward I use a block of clean letter paper so the quality is already much improved. Also I realized that especially the light colored and white parts need extra shading or it will just look flat and empty.

Jake Ruben's a new character I've created for the Musicverse of my Wandering Cryptids comic. He's a teenage pop star and actor that explodes in popularity during the late 60s and early 70s, which eventually leads him down a rabbit hole. He's inspired by many of the teen idols that existed in the 70s and 80s, specifically Leif Garrett and Bjorn Andresen.

Jake gets involved with the Wandering Cryptids in 1969 after meeting them backstage during a benifit concert. He's a huge fan of their music and wishes he can make rock music instead of the kitchy pop songs he produces for the radio. He forms a strong friendship with Iggy and looks up to him, since he's the only adult he truly trusts. I'm still plotting out Jake's story but he's quickly becoming one of the "main" side characters in the story lol.
