— 07 Mar 2016 — The final design for my Scandinavian inspired pattern pattern created for my college’s pop-up shop. I was inspired by the rolling hills of the Scandinavian area and some scandi pattens I found online. I was inspired by Denmark and Sweden’s islands and lakes to create a more flowing design for the water. The pattern uses complementary colours and a white outline as I could only use two colours for the screen printing I was doing. I used a smith text to compliment the smooth line in the pattern and the outside border.

**Summary:** In the world of Estodia, an ancient myth tells about the Tri-Gear, an artifact created by the gods with the power to reshape the world in the image of one with the purest heart. This is _Aeviarth_, My dragonsona as of Jan/2024 I actually have some lore for her now. Basically she grew up in a village of air dragons in the mountains. The inhabitants of the village didn't like her going far out of the settlement, so she stayed secluded in the village. She learned of the outside world through books, art, music, TV, Film, Video games, and the Internet. In her late adolescent her village got attacked by avians killing all of the inhabitants excepted for her, which she avoided by fearfully turning into a rock. She knew the land was unsafe so she traveled far from the ruined village out into the opened world, where she lives now.

Hey everyone! My first post here will be an establishing shot of an apartment building. A little bit of context, this is apart of a visual development project called _Partemsianos_. My character and his family temporarily stay in this apartment with a Golden Pelican idol when they’re transported to a different version of Earth. The city they live in has worshipped birds for over a thousand of years and they build these totems in respect for birds and other avian creatures. There will be more to come!

Monthly creature feature concentrates on the Greek Siren, the avian songstresses that lured sailors to their deaths with their alluring songs. Really challenging myself with trying to include backround work with these pieces :)
