In February, I decided for the first time to try out YCH Valentine's Day themed commissions, and I was grateful for these couplings that were requested of me. These commissions came with a choice of 1 of 3 backgrounds - the "Rose Petals" theme had went unused. These were all quite fun and satisfying to work on - the Winter springs theme was my favorite background myself!
I may try YCH holiday commissions again if there is a demand and a theme that strikes me.In February, I decided for the first time to try out YCH Valentine's Day themed commissions, and I was grateful for these couplings that were requested of me. The Onyro of Japanese mythology, made famous by such movies and Ringu and Ju-On. A ghost with a longer history steeped in the long nature of vengeance, and how it can stain a place of death long past the time of its occurence. Always a horror of the cruelty of people and the supernatural that fascinated me in concept.
Naturally I had to draw this dark element of the supernatural. The Onyro of Japanese mythology, made famous by such movies and Ringu and Ju-On. Pinup art I decided to do of my OC, Safrona. Getting some practice in with anatomy and backgrounds! Censored for minor artistic nudity, just in case.Pinup art I decided to do of my OC, Safrona. A group portrait done for a family of Warcraft characters.
The largest commission I've taken to date, and the first time I've tackled a group of this size with age differences.
Completed in Sept 2022.

Some Meteion fanart I did after finishing FFxiv: Endwalker in '21. It was one of the most heartfelt Mmorpgs I had played. Couldn't help the desire to draw the little bluebird. Quickly became a favorite of mine. Some Meteion fanart I did after finishing FFxiv: Endwalker in '21. It was one of the most heartfelt Mmorpgs I had played. Monthly creature feature concentrates on the Greek Siren, the avian songstresses that lured sailors to their deaths with their alluring songs.
Really challenging myself with trying to include backround work with these pieces :)Monthly creature feature concentrates on the Greek Siren, the avian songstresses that lured sailors to their deaths with their alluring songs. Monthly Ko-Fi art for a vampire OC. This was done this year (August 2022).
Decided I'd go with a more inky/shading style over my natural sketch lines. Still one of my favorites I've done.

It's taking me a little longer this to complete my creature feature this month, I got a little caught up in a theme and imagery. But i think I'm liking where it's going. Can't wait to share it when it's finished ;)It's taking me a little longer this to complete my creature feature this month, I got a little caught up in a theme and imagery. Eve, from the game Parasite Eve, which is one of my all time favorite RPGS.
I really went all out with doing fanart of personal loves this year. Though Aya didn't come out as great as I hoped, I'm still fond of this one.Eve, from the game Parasite Eve, which is one of my all time favorite RPGS. I've always had an interest in the dark mythology of Filipino monsters and creatures - its part of my identity. I feel it was one of my more underated works, but it is definitely one of my personal favorites this year.
The mananannggal is a vampiric or demonic looking monster that masks itself as a human woman by daytime, and separates herself from her own torso in the night to hunt for her prey - pregnant women and particularly the fetuses growing within. I feel like the monster was inspired by the fearful vulnerability of pregnant women, infidelity, of violation, and personally to me even represents the rage of reproductive abuse, or abuse of women in general. Concepts and grievances I think still carry with their meaning today. It raises a violent mirror to the spanish La Llorona.I've always had an interest in the dark mythology of Filipino monsters and creatures - its part of my identity.
