• DnD character commission I did in the end of 2023. That campaign takes play in is set in Mid-World, from Stephen King's "The Dark Tower" series, 200 years after the events of the books.

The character, Dashiva, is a "breaker": a person with powerful psionic abilities. Breakers all hail from the paradise town of Devar-Toi. Dashiva left Devar-Toi because he believes his people have become soft and lazy, relying on their abilities only to make their lives as comfortable as possible. He wants to push the limits of what he can do.

Mechanically, Dashiva is an Aberrent Mind Sorcerer. In battle, he uses telepathy, telekinesis, and mind control to manipulate his enemies. Signature spells include Telekinesis, Suggestion, Hypnotic Patter, and Catapult. He also has been practicing using his powers to open "doorways". (Doorways to other worlds are a significant part of The Dark Tower).

  • One of the later pages, based on Stephen King's It (the book, I was not a fan of either of the movies)

Avis Maritima Stulta was a gag comic I ran every sunday from 2008 to 2015.
This page was drawn with ink on paper, scanned and colorized digitally in Photoshop.
