  • ignore the outdated watermark, i went by a lot of names over the years

    Host: Raptor / Subject 3001

Fehrr are a species that belongs to my friend FelisRandomis: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/3204675/

REAPER and Raptor are probably the only Fehrr / host combo that have managed to live... relatively peacefully with each other. that's not to say that it hasn't permanently affected Raptor; it has constant physical signs of its possession and frequent changes in bodily control, such as the way its ears now heavily mimic those of a Fehrr. being a Fehrr host has serious drawbacks, not the least of which is that if you fail to control the emotion the Fehrr feeds from, it will take over and change your body to suit its needs and begin devouring live prey instead of emotions

  • Man the keyarts for totk got me urging for an ounce of motivation. Ganondorf looks fucking sicks, Zelda looks fucking sick- everything just looks so goddamn good. The art style holds real good from game to game, and I'd kill for a process video. Tried to mimic the brush strokes in this here.

Gonna try to do Ganondorf next- I'm feeling a book-cover esc deal? Yea, that's the vibe.

  • I was thinking either a dragon served up as food (upsetting) or a dragon eating food, but then I was suggested to have 'food based dragon', so here's a Donut-Mimic Basilisk :D

Some say these basilisks somehow mimicked pastries and baked goods to ambush their prey, but that is simple speculations. No one actually know.

  • For those that don't read the Sonic Comics, basically there is this character named Mimic the Octopus who is Whisper the Wolf arch-enemy after he got her team killed and he shapeshift into other people, so there was an arc where Silver suspected that this guy Duo the Cat was Mimic, but Lanolin didn't believed him

If you would like to support my work, feel free to support me on either

  • My attempt at mimicking old ps2 era horror game cover for funsies. Did not capture the aesthetic the way I wanted to, but it kinda looks like something you could find in a bargain bin, which is cool.

Gonna draw some fake screencaps later.

  • __"The Arachshin are a mysterious spider-like species of humanoids, known for the strange ability to mimic the appearance of others. In the old kingdom of Demenore, the Arachshin were hunted and persecuted out of paranoia, fuelled by the fear of monstrous spiders disguised as humans, luring others to their death and devouring them alive. However, when the curse swept across the land, the Arachshin were one of the few species that remained unaffected. Now they might be the least monstrous thing in all of Demenore."__

    ------

Artwork for my new 5e TTRPG book I am working on. Here you see one of many new playable species: The Arachshin.

Hope I gather some interest in this project.

  • going between holiday season to non-holiday, I was suggested a Festive Mimic so I squeezed in one disguised as a present.

Not much to say here, but happy holidays folks.

  • My submission to Relogic's Terraria's The Labor of Hallow's Eve event 2022 (https://forums.terraria.org/index.php?threads/the-labor-of-hallows-eve.114536/)

This Hallowed/Crystal Mimic was made with a wood treasure box as a base, adding a torque friction hinge so the lid stays in position, and sculpted details with Magic Sculpt/Apoxie two-part resin clay. After sanding and smoothing, it was painted with acrylic paint and varnished, the resin 'gem' accents were added after as a final touch.

The tongue is removable utilizing strong neodymium magnets in order to hold up the Trick-or-treat container and to allow the mimic to be closed to it's passive or defensive state

The Jack-O-Lantern featured in-game was recreated using just two-part clay and painted, but this time utilizing UV reactive paint to make the eyes 'glow'. It was hallowed out and used as a treat container for the mimic, with real sisal rope for the handle.

Inside the mimic's mouth is a cute 'easter egg' in the form of a Goodie Bag, an in-game loot bag containing various items, dropped from killed enemies only during the game's Halloween event. The orange string around the bag is real and not sculpted.

    Winners and Runner-ups: https://forums.terraria.org/index.php?threads/the-labor-of-hallows-eve.114536/
    Showcase: https://forums.terraria.org/index.php?threads/labor-of-hallows-eve-entry-showcase.116292/#post-2832843
Spoiler Alert: I didn't win, wasn't runner-up, nor was I even showcased. My fault for thinking outside the box and being different, as I should have done the Pumpking, Splinterling, or Eye of Cthulhu like everyone else, but nevertheless I am proud for doing my own thing.
