For the second day of #AvianAugust, this is a Pink-necked Green Pigeon!

I got too excited working with the water colour brushes, so here I used them once more! It was interesting to give the effects to the background elements using a single brush :D

Joining #AvianAugust this month! This is the first drawing, a Common Bronzewing! This Pigeon is native to Australia.

I decided to attempt for a watercolor texture for the coloring as well as try to get as many feather details as possible quickly. Pretty happy with the results!
