Here is the digital copy of the linocut I did for my printmaking final. The final piece was 12x12" and came out beautiful. I'm very proud of how this piece came out, and I might even sell some of the prints of it that I made on my Etsy once I get my account up and running.

I might also do an actual digital painting of this piece because hot diggity, I really do love it.

  • A drawing of Hopper and @JaxBeetle's RvBsona, Azazel. I took some artistic liberty with Azazel to make their armor look a little more like it belongs to the Halo universe.

  • Silly doodle of a dragon I made from one of those "have your Twitter followers design a character" memes that circulated. I'm still surprised I managed to make those neon horns work.

**Basic:** Your basic Hydreigon that is found in the wild. They live in the forests and cliffs in the mainlands of the region, making their nests in large trees or small caverns. The thick fur covering their neck, arms, and chest helps keep them warm while they are flying at high altitudes. They often live in a small brood of a few other Hydreigons, Zweilous, and Deino, and are extremely aggressive towards outsiders. They are most well-known for this aggression, and it is because of this behavior that all Hydreigons have been labeled as extremely aggressive creatures.

**Northern Tropical:** The most colorful of all Hydreigon subspecies. These Hydreigons live in the northern tropical regions. One of the more notable characteristics about them is that they rely on vegetation and fruit for half of their diet, unlike most other subspecies, which rely on them for around 1/4 of their diet. Long ago, ancient civilizations believed that the Hydreigons of this subspecies had wings made of fire, and worshipped them as gods of light and chaos. Because of this, Pokemon scientists have concluded that this is a subspecies that has been around for thousands of years. They generally make their nests in the canopy of the tropical forest.

**Southern Tropical:** A subspecies of Hydreigon that is believed to be considerably younger than the northern subspecies. Because their markings are nearly identical to their cousins living in the northern islands, Pokemon scientists believe that this subspecies evolved even further to match the darker foliage and swamp lands of the southern island regions of the world. Their distinctly blue coloration allows them to blend in with the sky, giving them an advantage when dive-bombing their prey. Their diet consists mostly of fish, other tropical Pokemon (mostly flying types, which they appear to hunt because they are simply more fun to chase,) and some fruit. They tend to create nests near rivers or swamps, in large trees.

**Mountain:** This subspecies of Hydreigon is found in the mountain ranges of the regions. Their thick coats help protect them from the cold climates, and their dark coloration allows them to blend in with mountain surfaces. The tops of their wings are a brown color, and they often splay their wings out while they are clinging to a mountainside or cliff in order to blend in better and help them sneak up on prey. Despite their shabby appearance, they are the most graceful fliers of all the Hydreigon subspecies. They learn from a young age how to deal with the wind drag on their fur coats, building strong muscles that can keep them in the air for a very long time. They generally make their nests in a large cave or on the top of a cliff.

**Competition:** Their name says all. This subspecies was created through selective breeding in order to produce the most appealing Hydreigon to be presented in Competitions. It is not uncommon to see this subspecies of Hydreigon flanking a celebrity, or on TV in a contest. They are generally more delicate than the other subspecies of Hydreigons, as the selective breeding was focused more on appearance than actual physical strength. They are not to be taken lightly, however, as they weigh just as much as the basic breed of Hydreigon does. They are also much faster than most other subspecies of Hydreigon (save the Southern Tropical), and have a much higher chance of scoring a critical hit against an enemy. This subspecies cannot be found in the wild, however, and must be bred.

**Royal:** A rare breed of subspecies. They were originally believed to simply be a variation of the basic breed of Hydreigon, however later studies of this subspecies proved otherwise. They are found in the same general area as the basic breed, however they are more reclusive, and are more active hunters later in the day and early into the night. This subspecies was considered the most favored variation of Hydreigon by the royal family of Unova which resided in the Relic Castle. Unfortunately, due to the rarity of this subspecies, they are in danger of being poached to extinction. Others are captured and sold in the black market. Luckily, measures are being taken to protect this rare subspecies. Recently, a number of regions have begun to send out groups of scientists to track and tag members of this breed so that they may be monitored. And during breeding season in Unova, trained Herdiers are set into the forest to help combat and drive away any poachers that may enter the territory.

Man it took me forever to come up with stuff for each subspecies. I hope you like them!
Also, feel free to use these subspecies if you want to. **Just don't forget to credit me, and link back to this page!** I really wanna see what you guys did with them!
