And it's time for my next reupload: This time the drawing is from July 2018 and shows one of my OCs: Solis <3
I really like him and he is accompaning me since many years already.
He may looks like one of this sunny-boys, who have nothing more in their brains than muscles, parties and girls, but this impression is deceptive. Yes, it is true: he loves to exercise, is proud of his body and usually shines and laughs like the sun (Sol), he is named after, but this is only one side of him. Solis is kind of a mathematical genius and a astrology-expert.
His open-minded and friendly character makes it easy to go along with him and himself to one of my most uncomplicated characters.

To the picture:
I did not only want to draw Solis' (back then) new look, but also wanted to study the male anatomy. This means that I used a reference for his body posture (not for his face). It was a great experience and I learned a lot about muscles and skin texture.

A fully-rendered tribute to a little taod from march 2019

Back in 2019 I lived in one of germany's biggest cities and in my local area were some wild animals as well.
During march a lot of frogs and toads started to migrate to their spawning waters to find a mate and lay their spawn.
You have to know that I I have a weak spot for those animals. I think they are adorable and cute and in my opinion it's sad that a lot of people don't care about them.

That particular Monday I came back from the cinema (it was already after 11PM) and noticed that one little toad was lying on the street. It was hit by a car and its guts were clearly visible...
Yes, that may sound strange, but I think it's really sad, when a living being gets killed and its remainings are treated like junk, therefore I decided to wrap the corpse in a big leaf and bring it to the roadside, so that it won't be damaged any further. In the moment I lifted the animal, it started to move. It was still alive, although it was terrible hurt and weakly tried to push me away with his little feet.
I was shocked and my eyes immediately started to fill with tears, when I realized what I had to do...
I couldn't leave it like this.... The poor toad was lethal hurt and surely suffered a lot, because of its terrible wounds.... I understand that I had to deliver it from its pain, but...damn...I felt so terrible after it was done...
At that night time I had problems to fall asleep, since I started so cry again and again and I wasn't able to sleep through the night as well.
I felt so bad, although I did what was best for the wounded animal, but still...
You can call me childish if you want, but it helped me to draw this picture in tribute to the toad and imagine that it's soul is at a better place now.

This is a 2 hours-speedpainting from April 2019, showing my OCs Akaris and Lilith.

It was a pleasant but unfamiliar experience not to focus on details and having to work faster, because of the time pressure. back then I thought, that the result is ok, even though it feelt strange to upload an image in such unfinished state.
Maybe I will reapeat this little 'challenge' later this year to see, how much I have improved since then.

I had so much fun drawing their handsome OC Saxton and think the green tones of his fur fit the scenery beautifully <3

Everything is fully hand drawn, except for the spheres, which I made myself in Blender though. No AI was used!

A little birthday present for my friend [Selunare](https://www.deviantart.com/selunare) from last year, showing her character Aurelia
I can't tell you how much fun I had drawing this sketch portrait. Aurelia looks so beautiful and I had a lot of fun painting her in a setting that includes her elements of darkness and fire. She has always looked very strong and confident in Selunare's drawings and I tried to capture those feelings in my own art of her as well.
It was also a pleasant challenge for me to work with two strong light sources. Over the past three years, I've worked on and off with light, shadow and contrast and feel like I'm starting to get closer to my goals - yet there is still so much for me to learn.

I drew Aurelia and the background in Photoshop CS4, but painted the flames in Flame Painter 4 - God, I love that program! No AI was used.

And another art of my dearly beloved OC Akaris ♥

I drew this artwork originally in April 2015, but editet it again around 2021, since the colors and lightning were partially wrong.
It shows Akaris' two forms, as well as the world, where he was born. In the beginning I wanted a blurry background, but it looked somehow strange and when I started to add the details, I realized that this is the forest, that lies adjacent to Akaris' family home. It was a wild, untamed, but also glowing place. You can be sure, that it looked spectacular at night time.

It makes me so happy when I look at both paintings in comparison and realize how much I have evolved since then.

My current reference of my OC Aitai Taru. They are by far one of my oldest OCs. I had a lot of fun drawing them recently for this ref again; they are an amazing character.
