  • This is Ricktor! He's been around for over 12 years! I've been naming every Pikachu I catch the same name for about as long as I've played Pokemon games; but Ricktor as a character solidified when I ran a Pokemon Yellow Nuzlocke way back in the day - he's been my go-to Pokemon OC ever since, and I've RP'd with him all over the place.

  • Another old art piece I'm bringing over! I like to style poochyena after Hyenna rather than dogs or wolves the way I see them portayed a lot of the time in nuzlockes, etc. Which isn't to say that's a bad way of doing it! I just like to try and focus more on the '-yena' and less on the 'pooch' part of their names I guess lmao.

  • Popplio is honestly my least favorite of the Alolan starters, but it does still have it's charm! I think adding some more animal features to it helps me warm up to it more than it's base design does though.

  • One of my favorite, if short-lived TTRPG characters! Made him for a friend's first game running D&D 5e using the Beginner Set, and had a lot of fun having a Giant, spear-wileding, Aussie bugbear being a menace around the town! The game unfortunately fizzled after a while, but this guy still lives in my head rent free anytime I think about the game. :)

He had a beloved dog named **Dehlila** who pulled a small cart around for him when he went hunting and his reason for helping out around the town and investigating Phandelver Mines was that the Black Spider had kid-napped his daughter and he was tracking her down!

  • A Breloom I drew a few years back using colored pencil and some light pastel and charcoal! Not a medium I tend to mess with much, so there's lots I'd do differently if I'd stuck to primarily alcohol marker like I do normally, but I really love this piece. More Pokemon should be dinosaurs haha. I do thinkit's very interesting that we did essentially get two plant-based Dinosaur mons in Hoenn, and given it's an island country it does sort of give Jurassic Park vibes. Were there any other notable dinosaurs introduced in Gen 3 that I'm not remembering I wonder?

  • Another old sketch from around 2 years ago! Backgrounds are, like they are for many artists, my bane. The fact I managed as much as I did in this one still astonishes me lmao.

  • Another older sketch of Bulbasaur; this one was from 2020 as opposed to like 2018 for the other iirc lol. Very specific color choice inclusion is something I think I need to play with some more looking back at art from this time period. Hmmm.

  • A Kirlia I drew back when I was first experimenting with lineweight more! I really do like the vibe of this - you don't usually get this sort of 'gritty' feeling from the Gardevoir line and I really appreciate it turned out the way it did. There are some places I know I could have done better (there's a spot on the skirt I'm not super thrilled with), but the overall image is one I'm very proud of even if it's simple. :)

  • Goopin' and gunkin'.....

Sometimes just playing with lineweight and doing something very basic can be incredibly fun! This little guy feels nice and slimey and I love how his little eyeballs turned out lol!

  • I tend to stylize the Bulbasaur line as Rhinos, which I know doesn't fall exactly in step with how they're usually depicted (I see a lot of frog and dino looks for them, which is rad!) Something about them just strikes me as big, tanky friend energy though, so rhinos they be!

This particular image is an older one I did a while back, since i'm still working through my backlog and seeing what I'd like to re-upload here.
