• I took it upon myself to work on a deeply personal portrait piece homaging Gustav Klimt’s 1909 artwork “Judith II”: I took a very psychological angle with the piece’s visual themes and experimented with collage for a large portion of it, I’m very happy with the finished product.

  • I decided to work on this over the past two days as while working on my prior piece I was binging Tarantino films in the background, when that piece blew up in views I wanted to make one more as soon as I could. This is probably my most involved art piece I've done in about a year and a half, and I'm really happy with how it turned out, my only hope is that others enjoy it as much as I do.

  • Back in January I spent roughly two weeks making this as a love letter to my favorite anime, Dragon Half (1993); I had isolated an animation loop of seven frames featured in the credits sequence, redrew them individually by hand and then proceeded to draw 21 completely original frames for it to be a total of 28 frames at 24 frames per second; I'm very happy with the results, and it makes me think I'd do well as an in-between animator for an occupation.

  • "pov: I'm full of choccy milk"

I decided to practice perspective and based this image of Derrik under a manga-style fisheye perspective on the memes of those 360 headband cameras, I'm pretty fond of the result.

  • Last year I made a fanart piece for my favorite artist, Ryoichi Itou, around this time of year: to my surprise I had finished it only a couple days from his birthday, and I decided that it would be an impromptu birthday present for him, which he loved. This year I decided to make him another piece based on my favorite garage kit model of his, intending it to be a birthday gift this time, I’m very pleased with how it turned out. Happy birthday, Ryou.

  • As I’ve been working on a piece for someone else, I plucked away on a substantial redesign for my original character Jenny, giving her a look that better matches my current abilities.

  • I spent a good deal of time on-and-off over the course of about a week to practice drawing Renamon as I've always felt I fell short in doing so; This piece is referenced from three of my favorite styles the character has been drawn in to date, but the pose and general features in particular are an homage to my single favorite done by PlagueOfGripes/Gannadene, whose piece is currently my favorite wallpaper. From here I'm in the process of simplifying the design in order to form an animation model of Renamon to aide in my animation practice, most of the referencing for this particular version was done solely for detail practicing.

  • I’ve decided to make it a habit that I redraw this profile portrait of Derrik every few months as a marker for my art’s improvement overtime, adding what I’ve learned in said time to the piece.

  • I made this of Goonie’s character Mercy from a spark of spontaneous inspiration this past weekend, ultimately it took me three days of work to complete, I’m happy to have made it.

  • I recently got an iPad to be my new main means of drawing and through such I've been experimenting with my art style and a new signature, I'm happy with the results thus far.

  • Yesterday I had decided I would draw Goonie's bee character Mercy as a warm-up, and I ended up spending into this morning to finish it because it turned out so well; I feel rather happy about the coloring, I am thinking about using the oil-painted aesthetic I practiced with it for my comic I'm still drafting.
