wooo new art website. not gonna repost ALL my artwork, just some of the more recent stuff to kick things off. here's an old OC i made back in highschool to start with.

figured i should make a ref sheet for specifically thingrey's little grub base form. his body shape was inspired by tardigrades, the mouth was loosely from the demigorgon from Stranger Things, his navy colour and spidery eyes were meant to reference Dale Kuiper's design for the alien (before Carpenter took over and made the alien an 'amalgamated flesh-beast' rather than a 'weird bug'), and the antennae... were literally just put there cause his head felt too bare without them :B i did not design him with the intention of being adorable, yet here we are.

back in highschool i used to watermark my art with this simple cat skull logo with the name "dead cat productions" on it. thought i'd make a new version of it, for old time's sake.

POV: you’re some dumbass who thought they could make a quick buck by breaking into this house and stealing stuff. however, an otherworldly apex predator who is way higher up on the food chain than you calls the place home and dude, you are looking like _such_ a snack right now

made him a bit more monstery this time, and also didn’t forget his vest and gun holster;;; i imagine this is right after a soldier or something attacked him, damaging his head and left shoulder area, followed by thingrey regrowing those damaged parts to retaliate. and also scare the shit out of the guy that shot him. probably a lot of ‘time to be mean’ blue-to-green pouring out of his mouth too, heh. gave him a random vortigaunt eye since he’s probably assimilated a couple of xen critters while they’re all dealing with the rescas. those big claw limbs were probably made using headcrab dna, too. (i didn’t think about it until after having already started painting, but i should’ve made his left eye socket full of a bunch of little eyeballs, like a houndeye’s. that wouldda been cool/freaky. ah well) made with sculpey and cosclay, painted with acrylics and sealed with sculpey glaze and mod podge. you can find more angles of this guy on [my tumblr](https://qhazomb.tumblr.com/post/716151417423970304/thingvrai-benry-thing-v2-because-i-wasnt)
