Hi there everyone! It's been a hot minute since I've blogged so here I am~ Hope y'all have been doing well <3

Have y'all read the InkBlot Newsletter? We got some exciting stuff happening so be sure to check it out.

## Updates and News

I wanted to try and blog at least once a week but with school in season and me going back to get a certificate, I've been very busy. Are any of you in school? What level are you in? What's your favorite subject this semester? Tell me about it in the comments below!

I do have some mini news that will be blasted at some point soon: I've been mini promoted! I'm no longer an assistant, I'm **_the_** Community Manager of InkBlot now! Which means, _we got a new assistant CM._ I'll introduce them in another blog, but be on the look out to find out who! What does that mean exactly? Let me tell ya all about it.

Initially , I was onboarded from the support team to start a whole new team: Community Events. I wasn't comfortable taking on the role as CM so Jay allowed me to be his assistant CM instead. I would basically organize and run majority of the CE projects while also assisting Jay in partnership related work or any ideas he may have wanted to do. But now that I'm Community Manager, I'll be taking the load off Jay so he can focus on other teams and projects going on.

That in mind, this meant I needed my own assistant mananger to help with everything I use to do. Just to alleviate the work load I personally put on myself (I can't help it, I'm booming with ideas with very little hands to work with - literally and figuratively lol). But I'm excited for what's to come with this position! I've been with InkBlot for 10 months (as of the 22nd) and I'm aiming to drop the agent name and be more front facing with InkBlot by my 1 year. I hope you all that are reading thiss will join me then!

## Events Coming Soon
I won't get too into the events happening - mainly because I had to type it all out for the newsletter so please go read that instead for more details. But I'll briefly mention them here~

### **InkBlot Draw Together/ Draw Pile Meet and Greet**
A mouthful, I know. But the team at InkBlot really wanted to give the community an opportunity to not only hangout with us but hangout with one another! Every two weeks, I will be hosting a draw together/ draw pile so we can all doodle and just vibe. You don't even have to talk on mic or text chat, just come witness some silly banter and beautiful art.

### **InkBlot's Multi-animator Project**
And before you say anything, the abreviation "MAP" has been around for a long time now. Before you know what's claimed it for an acronym. Please don't associate us with that. Anyways, the project was pitched to us by our lead artist/CE Volunteer! I won't give names until I get their okay but it was something they were very passionate about. They managed to get together the storyboard within hours of me green lighting the project haha. A lot has gone into the project already and we haven't even opened applications yet! If you're interested, be sure to check out the newsletter that has the link to the interest form. The form covers general details on the project, provides the most of the characters that will be included, the song, and sneak peeks of the storyboard.

### **Halloween Collab Event Coming Soon**
Y'all know we're always cooking up something for all of you to have fun with. Next month, we'll have another collaborative themed challenge so be on the look out for that! I wish I could've put together another picrew but alas, time is not on my side and nor do I have enough helpers to get that done. (Which btw, things like making picrews is part of what CE team does. If you wanna help out with that, you should totally apply <3)

I'm hoping to get something else done for y'all but we'll have to see. Here's hoping for the best!

------
That's it for now folks! I'll be back again soon (hopefully aaaaaaahhh). Which reminds me:
## **COMMUNITY QUESTION**: What should the users of InkBlot be called?
The staff and volunteers of InkBlot are called Inksters, but I'd like to be able to refer to all of you collectively aside from just saying "everyone" or "the community". Any suggestions? Let me know in the comments!

Catchya later!
