A while back, I wanted to push the limits of a character design (that I haven't really shown off as I'm still refining that) and I got the second picture. I liked the design enough that I came up with a what-if-scenario for the him where he becomes a Robin Hood-like punk fugitive after a mega corporation takes over the region. Despite his loner attitude and appearance, he has a heart of gold and strives to do he feels is right.
Later, I came up with the idea that he was cornered in a junkyard and found a stripped but still functioning bike. He took his chances on it despite never having driven ANYTHING before, and gained a liking for it. Now he's a courier on the side.
