Meet Claire and Sydney! Two kobolds I designed for [Marjask](https://www.furaffinity.net/user/marjask)! Claire is a balloon kobold, meaning she's often full of air, and despite being 20 feet tall, she barely weighs anything! Because of this, she wears gold plated tungsten anklets when she wants to keep herself grounded, though these can be removed whenever she wants. Getting her namesake from Clairette de Die, a naturally sparkling wine from the Rhône Valley region of France, she has a bubbly personality to go with her breezy approach to life, often being the life of any party she goes to, but still a pleasure to be around in more intimate settings. She can grow and inflate herself at will, though she is prone to extremely rapid inflation whenever she consumes carbonated beverages. She can also grown and inflate others with a kiss, and can turn others into balloons like herself with this same ability. Sydney on the other hand, is a towering mountain of a kobold, and can cause growth of various kinds through touch, both in herself as well as others. Dependable and fun-loving, she has always had an love for physical activities, and a fascination with how the body adapts to them. While she spent much of her early working years in sports therapy helping others overcome injury, her desire to use her growth abilities to help others (as well as simply have others enjoy their growth) lead to her decision to leave the practice, and instead work independently so that she could grow others (and herself) without having to worry about sporting regulations getting in the way. She now works as a masseuse and a personal trainer, growing those in her care for a variety of reasons, whether it's to better manage the stresses of a physical job, or simply to feel the pleasurable sensation of expanding beyond your previous potential! --- So these are two Kobolds I designed for {fa:Marjask} in the latter half of 2022! For Claire, I had wanted to design a character that had bimbo-adjacent vibes while rocking the "proudly fake" aesthetic and also working in themes that I knew would be to Marjask's liking, and I think the result speaks for itself! And while inflation in particular isn't something that I'm a fan of, I very thoroughly enjoyed designing this character! I'm quite happy with how she came out, the fullness and lighter-than-air feel of her enormous chest, the rounded almost over-inflated feel to her tail and horns, and the thick yet taut feeling of her thighs all feel like they hit the mark for a character that's a living balloon. Drawing and designing her outfit was incredibly fun as well, though I did take some inspiration from the work of Doxyonta on Twitter for it. Sydney, as you can probably tell, is much more in-line with what you'd probably expect of me; big and beefy! Though she was also more specifically requested to be of the tanky beefy persuasion, as this was not too long after I had completed my big illustration of Brisket. I had a blast working on her all the same though. I do love my big beefy girls after all! For Sydney's design, I wanted to take some of the elements I had toyed with for Brisket (particularly in her earlier concept stages), and work them in with some new ideas that I was exploring for additional kobolds in the future (because I'm always making kobolds apparently!). But the most notably purposeful design element was her blue color, which was a throwback to the initial thought that Brisket would be blue, as she was always sketched out with blue lines before I had settled on a color palette for her, as well as a reference to the Blue Mountains near Sydney, Australia. After all, a build like hers is pretty easily defined as mountainous!
