A set of ten old wood elves my older brother owned and gave to me, so I repainted them.
I repainted an old collection of wood elves I found for my first practice at miniature painting a long time ago before I created this tumblr account (like 6 months ago). I used the standard Games Workshop Citadel painting system of; base coat, wash, 1st layer paint, 2nd highlight layer. As this was my first painting experience with this system The lines on the cloaks are very prominent however I think this gives them a stylised look.
I created a diorama base for all of the models as I wanted a set of scenery that would make a nice background for displaying them and for taking pictures. I went with a forest setting as I thought this would be fitting of the wood elves.
