A lil bit of a late start to the AuGHOSTus art challenge by mumbot on IG, but we're here! Day 5's prompt is Blood, so I chose to do the Bleeding Fairy Helmet fungi.
Bleeding Fairy Helmets, also known as the Burgundydrop Bonnets, are small, dainty clusters of fungi that feed on decomposing matter and secretes a blood colored latex when touched or harmed.
