while drawing i was listening a lot to black dresses' 2019 album THANK YOU, which evokes feelings i associate with these two, particularly the song DEATH/BAD GIRL. 

edited while listening to fennesz' 2001 album endless summer, which doesn't conjure quite the level of despair and anger appropriate for s. young but has a lovely glitchy sound that was quite pleasant and atmospheric, and from which i have borrowed the title.
