Hi folks,

With the new influx of open beta testers I feel it might be best to give a rough guide on best practice with tagging in my opinion.

**Firstly, do not tag things NSFW to get passed the 3 tag minimum**- the gore & nsfw toggles are provided to mark it as such so that it will not appear to anyone who has that material filtered from their feed and and warn people who can see it.

**Do not use nudity as a content warning** as this is an extremely broad definition. You will need to be more specific with what kind of nudity you are displaying for example if someone has thier cock out tag it 'penis' or 'exposed genitalia' etc. For full on sexualised nudity 'Explicit nudity' might be acceptable but make sure to follow it up with relevant tags.

When warning via tags, the subject of the tag doesn't need to be a point of potential offence. For example; if the subjects in your nsfw piece are furries you can tag it 'furries' to give a better idea of what kind of image the person will find, gender & sexuality is another option i.e, nb, masc individual, male, m/m, gay, mlm (for whoever's engaged in whatever activities).

A general rule is try not to be vague with all tags- if you want to tag something with a coverall umbrella for people to avoid, ensure you follow it up with specifics. Tagging it with kink or extreme kink? follow it up with what kind of kink; the more taboo it is the more important it is to add the content warning.

Anything else that you think could cause upset to people should be tagged I.E some images might make some trans people dysphoric but not all of that group but it is important to tag regardless. Mentions of generally triggering topics would be a good idea to warn people of too.

So lets say someone has drawn an image of a fox man cutting off a catboy's head whilst he's zooted out of his brain on bath salts in a sort of sexualised way that could be tagged like this:

(nsfw & gore toggled on)

Furry,
Demi human,
Snuff,
Death,
Drug use,
Violence,
Major blood,
Injury

If there are any issues with the tagging system (for example; certain special characters cant be used, there's a limit of 3 or something) you must report it- this is one of the most important features for the coexistence of nsfw & sfw material

Hope this was helpful and if you have any suggestions for amendments, please leave a comment <3

have fun everyone!
