Here is a piece that I wanted to create but was frightened of doing so. My fear and worries revolved primarily on how others would react to it. As a friend advised me:

_**"Will that picture make YOU happy? If the answer is yes then that's all the reason you need. It doesn't matter what other people say, and even less what they think."**_

These were words that I needed to hear, and I began my journey of creating what you see.

The story behind this, Pete and Phe rarely get time together. If and when they do, the most is made out of it. Here we see them sharing a bit of an emotionally intimate moment. Phe sleeps soundly cuddled to Pete while he watches over her. It is also obvious that Jiggles is also now part of the "family." :)

I experimented with various tools with this one, which naturally made the creation process longer. The only way one can learn properly is by trial and error.

One of the tools experimented with, cloth simulation which was used on the blankets. I legit can sit there for countless hours solely playing with cloth sim, like an overgrown kid in a toy store. :D

I noticed on the most recent Blender pieces by Vartoz, how "fluffy" their Vulpera and Worgen look. (If you have not taken a look at their work, please go do so.) They were kind enough to message me and politely told me their technique. After the conversation, I swiftly got to work with the smudge tool in GIMP. A tool I've merely utilized in the past on minor corrections. Now not only Phe, but the fur skin blanket have a fur-like texture.
