This was drawn after writing the first draft for either chapter 15 or 16 of my webcomic, [Apocalypse Child](https://apocalypsechildcomic.com/). I really just wanted to draw the (frightening!) dynamic between the two characters here (Jahl and Thunder) for fun. I think it'd make for a great cover for that chapter when we get there but it's so far away that I'll probably change my mind by the time I get there. Does that mean this drawing is a bit spoilery? Yeah a lil, but honestly I'm sure people will forget about it by the time it's relevant. Jahl here won't even be seen until chapter 6, I believe. We might get glimpses of him earlier? I'll have to check the scripts again. Anyway, the only explanation I'm going to give to this image for now is that these two end up fighting in a city during a major heatwave, and the hunter becomes the hunted real quick. The title "Good Boy" references the seemingly sadistic turn this battle takes as well as the theme of the chapter, which is examining Thunder's grey morality. I am literally not at all concerned that anyone will remember this by the time we get there haha
