What would happen if the Snow White story was altered at the beginning? Let’s watch as Alice decides to play god and tries to make everyone lives a little better but like a butterfly this will have consequences.
Once upon a time in a kingdom far away there was a little kingdom. A king and queen wished for a child with hair black as ivory, skin pale as snow, and lips red as blood. They had a sweet little princess years later they called her Snow White as she was born on a beautiful winter day.
Now her mother and father loved her very much but her mother held a dark secret: she had a magic mirror that she talked to on the daily. She always asked if she was beautiful every day and the mirror always said she was the fairest in the land. She was satisfied until one day her mirror said “ Regina fair as day but your daughter is growing more beautiful day by day” this worried her mind as it was Snow White 5th birthday. Instead of hating her daughter for it she smirked and decided to use it for her own good. Caring and raising snow carefully she brought her up using the same dark magic she had used.
This corrupted snow to the point her heart grew dark and she waited until the day it was her turn to do what her mother taught her. Her father grew worried for his daughter as she grew colder to everyone but her mother smiled seeing she was growing up happy. Regina taught snow up until her 6th birthday her beauty would get her a man that will never want to leave. Her father died during this year from an unknown illness tho the people suspects it was Regina that killed him but it was never proven.
When Snow White was 8 it was ready for her to be wed but her mother fell ill mysteriously and died to nightshade poisoning. This left snow to take up the throne with her husband. She ruled it fooling her people she was a pure and good leader, but under the surface her husband knew she was a cruel evil witch using black magic. He couldn’t prove anything to the people as he knew he would meet the same fate as her father.
Soon snow fell pregnant at 15 and she smiled knowing it was twins, a blessing to her kingdom. It was time for the prince to act though he knew she would corrupt their children like her mother did her. When she gave birth he tried to run but was found by her and her guards 3 days later with 7 dwarves. Seeing his attentions she ordered her guards to kill him and the dwarves but take her babies home. She lived after this, raising her babies alone and loving them and ruling alone on her throne.
The kingdom never saw her true wicked heart to them; her husband was the villain trying to kill their twins. That was the story they heard, at least good enough for Snow White as they would kill her if they were to find out the truth. On her twins 4th birthday she married an old king as he fell in enchanted by her beauty and treated her children well as they were as beautiful as her. Her mother was right, any man would fall in love with her beauty. As the story comes to a close she smiled and asked the mirror “ mirror mirror on the wall who is the fairest of them all”. The mirror said “ you are Snow White and forever will be as long as you may live.” She walks to the throne room and sits on it with a malice’s smile knowing full well she murdered her father and mother.
This happened all because her mother wasn’t cruel or evil to her and trained her in her way of life. Alice never knew Snow White would grow up to be so cruel but is this the only thing that changed in the fairytales or is it just the beginning. Maybe as the glass slipper shatters it will be revealed.
