In season 8 after losing her hive Queen Chrysalis went under and wanted revenge on Starlight Glimmer for costing her her hive so she disguises herself as a unicorn photographer to take pictures of the Mane 6 and take a piece of their hair and clone them to steal the elements of harmony but her plan ended up backfiring and she would have to lay low again until season 9.
