POV: Goodra wants to play catch with you at the beach. Would you play with her?
This took a couple of days to finish as IRL things prevented me from completing this within a timely manner. Regardless, I'm very happy with the way this turned out and it was a lot of fun to draw. I tried to draw a closed valve for Goodra's jumbo beach ball, but I couldn't do so without it looking bad, so I did what I could to make it look decent. Goodra herself was a bit of a challenge as I screwed up the scaling a few times when drawing her head and body, but I managed to correct them by rescaling/transforming them after drawing each piece. I might've drawn Goodra's arm a bit too big, but I wanted to emphasize her holding the beach ball.
Speaking of the beach ball, I attempted to add creases to emphasize her gripping it, but wasn't 100% sure of which parts to add the creases to. After adding them, I'm very happy with the way I added the extra bit of details to this art piece as I feel it makes it stand out that much more and makes it more complete. As for the ball itself, I was originally going to make it a regular ball, but I got the idea of turning it into a jumbo beach ball after I finished drawing Goodra. I also wanted to add some transparent stripes to the ball just for the fun of it and after seeing the end result, it was worth it in my opinion.
Overall, this was fun to draw and I'm surprised that I was able to do so much with the default brushes in Krita. Goodra was challenging due to scaling, but was fun to do, one of the most fun Pokemon I've drawn, despite it being the first time I've ever drawn it. The jumbo beach ball was also fun to draw and the extra details I added were worth the effort. The background itself didn't take too long to make either as I had an idea of how to go about it and having a stock beach photo for reference really helped with its completion.
