_Obscured by the mists of time and what truth behind it all but forgotten, the tale of the proud shield-maiden Enya the Monsoon and her mystic companion Rhiannon the Dusk-Weaver had been dismissed for generations as a mere children's fable of ancient times. All that changed with the discovery of a forgotten Sauryan temple buried deep underground in Northern Europe. More surprising was the implication that it had been regularly visited at some point in the age following the Raksha War. Littered within were various artifacts dated back to around 870 AD, suggesting that this complex from prehistory had been known at some point as late as the Dark Ages._

_Suggestions that were ultimately confirmed by the prized discovery; two young women, clearly mammalian and not of Sauryan origin, sealed within crystalized adamantine, kept in a state of suspended animation for over a thousand years. Taken back to Cairo for study and with all possible leads cross-referenced, it started to become hypothesized that the slumbering maidens were quite possibly the very same from the obscure tale._

_All attempts to awaken the subjects from stasis thus far have been met with failure. The Adamantine shell has proven too durable to pierce conventionally and attempts to break it down into liquid aether have proven similarly unsuccessful. Current theory suggests that an as-of-yet undiscovered Sauryan device is responsible for initiating the adamantine suspension, and thus capable of reviving the two subjects. Survey teams continue to scour site LV for the possible apparatus._

_Perhaps when that day comes, Enya the Monsoon and Rhiannon the Dusk-Weaver will create new legends. For now though, their eternal sleep remains undisturbed, studied extensively by renowned paleotech researcher Atlas Xenakis and his protege, Alias Blair._
