Update on Nima’s Design. I like this so much better holy crap. (first pic is the original. Pic 2 is the ideation process, 3 & 4 are the new suit).
For context, with the first suit I had about 20-something references and it was about, pass #16. As much as I like that one, it looks like it fit awkwardly and it wasn’t giving “bug” the way I wanted it to. So I went back to basics and cut down references.
This outfit is inspired by Thierry Mugler’s Spring 1997 and Spring 2022 collections, as well as Anthony Powell’s designs for 101 Dalmatians (1996) and Joelle Jone’s Catwoman (2018)
[Picture ID/ Nima Soustere wears a cowl with ears resembling bug antennae and goggles that look like bug eyes. Clinging to her body is a skin-tight bodysuit that’s segmented, like an insect body, and thigh-high leather boots. She also wears short leather gloves with claws on the finger tips.
Over her bodysuit is a leather tail-coat with fang-like buttons closing it, large triangular lapels, and coattails that resemble sharp moth wings trailing behind her. /ID End]
