Hey guys! I'm back with another Oni Slayer character. This time, it's the third protagonist of the story, Musashi Mifune.
He is a young slayer who lost his entire family and clan to a surprise oni attack when he was a child, leaving him as the sole survivor. He was obviously affected by this, resulting in him going on a tough training regimen, due to this desire to become stronger and avenge his clan. Because of this, he slowly drifted away from Asuna Katsumi, his best friend at the time, and fellow slayer.

Hearing news about a new slayer on the Otake Clan, a long inactive clan, he decides to meet its latest member, Kamashi Otake. Meeting Kamashi, he reunites with Asuna, and the three form a team of slayers to combat the oni threat together. His weapon is a katana called Shinigami; it has that name due to containing the spirit of one inside, allowing Musashi to have stronger attacks, cause extra damage to oni and even devour their souls to power up the blade. In contrasts to Kamashi's standard two-handed technique, Musashi uses a laido style of fighting, using the sword to make fast cuts by drawing it from its scabbard (saya), then sheathing the blade.
