Did up a character sheet for my pokemon trainer OC Naran, a washed up childstar-turned-adult figuring out what's next in her life.
Naran started out as a child star in a western-themed children show. She was scouted during a shooting competition. The casting director who spotted her was impressed by her sharp shooting skills and thought she might be a good match for the role.
Now as an adult, Naran finds herself jaded and stuck in a limbo. She feels neglected and betrayed by the industry responsible for placing her in the spotlight then running away when they realised she has lost relevance. Naran finds it difficult to embrace the fact that she has become a has-been.
It was during tours where she discovered a fascination for pokemon battles. She would sneak out with her pokemon co-stars to train and battle.
At a certain point, Naran decides to take life by the reins. She takes a long leave/goes on hiatus and decides to travel with her pokemon team (filled with her childhood pets and co-stars that have become loyal to her) to figure out how to move forward in life.
Wanted to do an illustration to accompany this but wouldn't have time to complete within this month
