At the high of spacial exploration, in a dark corner of the universe, an exploration ship finds the abandoned wreck of an alien ship.
Sending in a team to investigate, the assigned scientific officer get separated from the others. Soon he stumble into a room covered in a strange greenish-grey viscous fluid, as he approach it to scan a sample something sprays him with that same fluid, before disappearing in the shadows.


Soon the officer can only stay in awe as his uniform disapear as if melted by acid, fearing for his skin he look at his arm, but instead of burns it appears to harden.
In a matter of second his skin turns rigid, separated with ridge to maintain mobility. the effect of the fluid quickly spreading all over his body, way beyond the first areas.
