How to achieve a more 3D effect without adding additional parts (minimal parts needed: 3):

One of the earliest concepts artists learn when drawing is that things closer to the audeince/viewer is going to be brighter than those further away. With the multiply and screen tools inside of Live2D, you will not need to add additional parts to dim parts that are sliding out of view nor for brightening parts coming into view.

In this example I used the front and side hair pieces which I brighten when in a side profile facing the audience/viewer, and dim on the opposite side profie. I didn't saturate the multiply when dimming the layer(s) as things farther away tend to be less detailed and vibrant. The screen tool adjustment I used a color of a similar color family to the hair to make the brightening make sense.
The color for screen I used: #301B17
The color for multiply I used: #9C9C9C

Obiously the specific colors will be a bit of trial and error depending on which model and the parts

Please let me know if this helps or if you tried this technique!
