* Tyz Farpincer, one of the Battalion's best scouts, a gloom stalker ranger who speaks only in sign language and was very close to M'rai's sister.
* Shae Boltstrike, DECEASED, M'rai's younger sister who joined the Battalion because she looked up to M'rai, one of the best archers in the Battalion, died protecting Tyz from a mage's fire magic.
