getting set up on [vgen](https://vgen.co/GlimmerGuts) and decided now was a great time to update all my branding assets; I redid both of my logos to get a better flow to the guts and I'm very pleased with how they turned out. they feel much cleaner with solid silhouettes now. as for this icon I've wanted to update my repeating pattern for a while but I don't think I'm going to get it the way I want in the programs I currently have. however, the background on this didn't need to be seamless, so I used it to experiment with the kind of fill I wan to get out of the seamless pattern. also tested a brush I've been poking at for iridescent glitter if you can spot it.
