I drew Kato and Phi together to illustrate their adorable size differences! I'm still very fond of how this one went, it was done with copics in my sketchbook. It was very difficult getting a clean scan, however, because it's spiral bound and I do not like taking pages out to scan.
I think this was my first time trying out the low light technique where you layer your blue markers first and then glaze over with the local colors. I ended up putting some colored pencil over Phi's stripes to try to make them look like they're glowing a bit, but I don't think it gave the effect I wanted.
Oh well, you learn something with each piece!
