This is an update of an old college piece from "Duality" which features a character of mine, Mickie Stanson who is one of dualism in practice; as a mage who practices with the Dark and Light Arts. ☀ Basically, the main idea behind this piece is that every single human on this planet has a "light side" and a "shadow side" (with varying degrees in between). 🌙 🌚 Mickie is also loosely based on Michael Jackson. For those of you who are very familiar with anime tropes, I chose many years ago to draw Mickie in "bishonen" form ("Bishonen" meaning "Pretty boy", an anime style to embody Mike Jack's inherent gentle nature (in public, when he lived), though Mickie is a young adult and the style is usually used for teenage characters. ‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾ ©Kiki Pierre (2010-2023)
