I attended a workshop on abstract art and produced this piece I call Between Two Worlds. It reflects my life in a sort of aerial landscape, combining the nostalgia of my native Shetland and my other life in the mainland. This work is open to viewer interpretation. Shetland is painted as pasture and natural but bare. Whereas the area representing my other lifestyle in the mainland is vibrant and daring. Although it is controlled within the parameters of the gray line (as in the linear streets) and the black corner (oblivion). The black corner is also found in the Shetland area, signifying the limitations of life. #abstract #abstractaerialart #abstractartpainting
