It took forever to finish these but it was worth it! This is Auriga, Gemini’s zodiac companion. She’s the fastest charioteer on the Astral Plane, but will often lend a ride in her chariot to those in need. She’s been the getaway vehicle for the twins’ mischief on more than one occasion. xD Personality wise, Auriga is definitely a go-getter, and she has to be to keep up with the Gemini twins! She does try to reel them in as best she can to keep them out of danger.

I’ll admit, this was quite hard to complete! It was a delicate balance between function, simplification and visual appeal. At least I got some much needed technical drawing practice in, and after a lot of research I’m really happy with the results! Auriga can switch between the two modes of her wheelchair at will, but usually reserves the racing mode for actual racing. Though she can bring it out when she’s really got somewhere to be! The small handles near the front wheel are used for turning the wheel at curves. I also included her chariot reference, which I call it a chair-iot because that wordplay was too good to pass up, haha. Plus I think it’s an interesting way to combine the concepts! Drawing the two together really helped solidify the idea for me.
