Recently, I was commissioned to do a portrait of the titular character from J Sheridan Le Fanu's novella, Carmilla. This one was so much fun. Love getting to use the moon as a light source, love vampires, love getting to know a character and then getting to draw them.
Carmilla is such a fun character to have gotten to know, and her story is in the public domain if you'd like to get to know her, too.
