A scene for a story I wrote. It's Zack giving a haircut to Rachel with a knife (which, I know, I didn't draw). For the bathroom, I was inspired by the bathroom at my parents' place.
------
"Lemme grab a knife. Where should we cut it?" He asked and she thought about it.
"Bathroom. Might be easier to clean after." She told him and he gave her a sign he agreed. She went to the bathroom and took off her jacket. He came back with a knife and went behind her.
"So... ya sure that’s what yer want? No turnin' back." He told her and she nodded.
"In a way, it will be a good thing. It’s the middle of summer and I’m dying with that much hair." She told him and he chuckled.
"What should I said 'bout my bandages?" He told her and she smiled. "How short?"
"I say... about this." She put both of her hands next to her neck, between her ears and her shoulders.
"Damn! That’s quite short. Okay, I’ll start. Just, be warned, I’m no hairdresser." He told her and she nodded. He took a lock in his hand and cut it. He noticed that Ray was fixing the mirror. She frowned as she noticed his smirk forming.
"Zack-" She yelped as he took her under her shoulders and turned her around. "Zack!"
"Sorry shorty. I don’t like when someone is watchin’ me." He teased her and she pouted. "Lemme work n' I’ll let ya see the result."
She let him work. He took a lock of her hair and then cut it in a swift of the knife, repeating it. She was to look down to see how much hair was around her feet. "Hey! Don’t move! Keep yer head up."
"Sorry!" She quickly said as she straighter herself. He sighed as he continued to work. After a while, he was slowly finishing some touch-up and he sighed, whipping his forehead with the top of his hand.
"There. Should be a good length." He told her and she was surprise to see so much hair on the floor. She looked at the mirror and gasped in surprise. She looked so different.
"Thank you Zack. I really like it." She told him and he chuckled. He passed a hand on the top of her hair and rubbed it.
"Yeah, not bad."
