A rendition of Galda many people in the realm THINK she is like, but isn't at all in reality. Many accounts of Galda were skewed over time, and this particular rendition came about from an encounter with knights in the kingdom of Varialis. As a result of Galda being alive for over 100 years at that point and since few people understand magic and longevity, people definitely made assumptions about her, particularly that she steals life force to extend her life and regain youth to become virtually immortal. The upside to such off-mark folklore is that Galda can hide in plain sight in her travels over the centuries, but the downside is her sheer embarrassment at being portrayed as a Death Hag.
