I played Boxes: The Lost Fragments, and it has been a lot of fun. It inspired me to this. Magic exists everywhere in the universe, but not all creatures are capable of using it. It is the alteration of reality itself, and only beings deeply connected to the fabric of reality are capable of manipulating it. Either that, or beings who learn how to fake it. Technomancers are among these beings, using strange, arcane technology to achieve what their species is not capable of by nature.
