Iruru Mujō is my PC from Daisuisen! She is my most ambitious character, and as such, has over 100 icons in total. I will not be posting every variation- but there is some method to my madness.
Daisuisen is a project that focuses on one character per session. Since I wanted to play an old woman with a whole history and only had one session to show it, I experimented with using character details and the game mechanics to represent her history - even if it would never be brought to attention. The system used is Sentiment, where every character operates on an attribute system represented by colors. Colors are assigned custom titles that grant characters bonuses (or penalties) on their actions. When a character locks in an attribute in a "Roll to Dye" action, they are dyed that color.
Now, some fun Iruru deets!
- Iruru's icon is two icons tall to fit her cloud hair. I considered making it an animated gif, but instead gave her an arsenal of alts and expressions *shrugs*
- No one really understands what Iruru is. Some have claimed she is a goddess, but she is adamant she is a human. However, her cloud-based shape shifting abilities and affinity for the supernatural aren't the norm.
- Iruru has received 99 curses over her lifetime at the hands of the Goddess of Misfortune, Kokuten. The final curse was an attempt to end her, cursing her very form to "dissipate like the clouds". Before, Iruru would have to concentrate to shapeshift, but now it takes her concentration to hold herself together. Her aging has slowed as a result, and she and Kokuten have been at a stalemate for centuries, waiting for the answer if Iruru will succumb to Kokuten's curse or meet her own natural end.
- Iruru's color attributes are yellow, blue, and red and are themed on times of the day. Blue changes depending on if a scene if taking place during the day or night. They are named "Sunrise", "Midday/midnight", and "Sunset", respectively. Depending on the phase of her life, her attributes are also tied to the people who influence her the most. In the same order, they are Hisashi, Suisen, and Kokuten. The patterns in her clothing also change with the color to reflect these people.
