The scouts were able to hear her and brought her back to the laboratory they worked for. The head scientist took her in and brought her to the other children they were caring for. They took tests on her and the head realized that she possed the orb that contained calla based on the amount of aura that surrounded the halfing child. Realizing all they could do to her until the day of the eclipse, they took full advantage of her when she was old enough to test on. When the humans came and took her from her group, none of them realized how their peaceful childhood would turn into a nightmare.
